Huron Valley Electric (HVE) delivered a fully integrated, design-build electrical solution for Evolution Gaming’s 40,000-square-foot live online casino facility in Southfield, Michigan.
Completed in just four months and ahead of schedule, the project transformed an existing space into a high-performance broadcast environment where live dealers, real-time gaming, and digital infrastructure operate seamlessly. The facility required advanced lighting, sound, data, and power systems to support continuous online gaming in compliance with the State of Michigan Gaming Board.
This was not a typical commercial build-out. The facility had to function as both a physical casino and a real-time broadcast studio, where performance, reliability, and visual precision directly impact user experience and financial transactions.

Key challenges included:
Every system had to perform flawlessly, in real time, with no margin for error.
HVE led the complete electrical design-build scope, with a strong design/assist approach, providing technical analysis, coordination, and implementation, integrating power, lighting, controls, and data infrastructure across the facility.
The project included:
The project featured an aggressive demolition of the existing 40,000-square-foot space, followed by a full build-out of studio environments and supporting infrastructure.
At the core of the experience was a fully immersive lighting and broadcast environment. HVE implemented:
Each gaming station was supported by dedicated power and data systems to ensure performance consistency. HVE engineered one of the first fully integrated design-build systems combining LED lighting, camera interaction, and real-time broadcast controls at this scale, including the use of LED lighting integrated with projected camera systems through tables and architectural elements, representing a first-of-its-kind application.
Key innovations included:
All blackjack tables, roulette areas, and craps tables were supported by dedicated power and data systems connected to redundant sources to ensure uninterrupted operation during power outages.
These systems ensured uninterrupted operation, even in the event of a power outage, protecting both gameplay and financial transactions in real time.
HVE delivered a high-performance digital gaming environment under extreme conditions.
The facility now operates as a seamless bridge between physical and digital gaming. What began as a vacant 40,000-square-foot space is now a fully operational, high-tech live casino platform. Huron Valley Electric didn’t just build the infrastructure. They built the experience, where lighting, power, data, and performance come together in real time, with no room for failure.
