Licensed Professionals

Huron Valley Electric’s staff of electrical professionals includes licensed Master Electricians.Journeyman Electricians, and Professional Engineers as well as numerous Apprentice Electricians.

Huron Valley Electric is a licensed Electrical Contractor in the State of Michigan (license number 6103044), which allows us to work throughout the state in addition to the Ann Arbor area and Washtenaw County.

Safety

HVE provides safety training to its employees on a regular basis. From National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association Code (NFPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) standards to first aid, CPR, aerial work, confined space work, heavy equipment operation, and hazardous materials/chemical/gas awareness, we ensure our workplaces and workers stay safe and healthy.

Construction Contractor Safe Practices Recognized by University of Michigan

The University of Michigan places the highest priority around worker safety, and is committed to recognizing and rewarding those employees. The Construction Contractor Safety Recognition program – jointly sponsored by Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) and Occupational, Safety & Environmental Health (OSEH) – formally recognizes safe behavior by rewarding contractor employees who exhibit exemplary safe work practices while on the U-M campus for capital improvement projects.

Each quarter a random drawing from all of the worker names submitted is conducted to select individuals to receive the following for special recognition: a $100 voucher to be used on the U-M Apparel and Accessories website and a Safety First T-Shirt.
